Pretty psyched to have the following press mentions before we even open our doors!
- Elevation DC asked us some questions about our new venture for their article about our grand opening. (Thanks, Jeanne!)
- Prince of Petworth and Brookland Bridge chatted us up on their blogs this week. Yay!
- The winner, though, is this video taken by the Washington Business Journal, which has my face being all "whaaaa?" in the preview, with the added bonus of us not knowing we'd be interviewed on camera. Hello, painting clothes and messy hair! (I hold Ms. Cooper harmless in this, for the record.)

Find me at Fenton Street Market this weekend
I'm excited to share that I was chosen as this week's featured vendor for Fenton Street Market! You can read the little interview I did with them here. (FSM interviewer Amina also put together a sweet little Etsy Treasury of FSM vendors and was kind enough to include my apple journal. Thanks, Amina!)
I'll be there this Saturday, September 29 with my wares, including the NEW(ly packaged) AND (slightly) IMPROVED aerogramme sets in both bibliophile and philepistolist themes for your letter-writing pleasure. Come visit me in booth 57, right in the middle of the action.

A love requited.
The new craftgasm booth banner! Photo by Etsy Labs on Flickr.Nole of Oh So Beautiful Paper was kind enough to post pictures of my booth on her gorgeous blog (and was nice enough to let me reproduce them here).
Their upcycled cards and pins are unique and hip, and make you feel totally awesome about buying them. Plus, everything has a perfectly sharp sense of humor.Scroll down past all the pretty pictures to see their assessment of some other awesome vendors; I missed the text part my first time through because I was so busy flipping through their images.
It's been so fantastic to hear from people who I met at the show and to get orders these past couple of weeks from those who said they read about my shop somewhere. Thank you so much for supporting handmade and making it possible for me and my crafting colleagues to do what we do!

My first blog mention!
A blog other than my own, that is.
The folks over at SuperEco, a blog about green living, included my Recycled Stationery Sets in their green last-minute gifts post on December 18th. I'd have never known if it weren't for Google Alerts, so I'm grateful for that -- and for the fact that I have a new blog to check every day! (Like I needed another one of those.)
I hope you had a very happy Christmas or Hanukkah (or for some of you luckies, both), and that your 2009 is fantastic!
